Laughter, of course....This blog is simply an ongoing collection of things I find funny: jokes, audio, videos, images- anything! Take note that the operative phrase here is "things I find funny". I do hope though that you share my sense of humor so we can all take this same best medicine- all for the collective good of everyone! Enjoy!

FUNNIEST Oscar Moments Ever!
Its the 85th Academy Awards night! The Academy Awards ceremony (referred to as "The Oscars") is an annual event where the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) presents its annual Academy Awards- this year to honor the best films of 2012 in the United States. The ceremony is currently being held at the Dolby Theatre in the Hollywood district of Los Angeles, California. Seth MacFarlane hosted the Academy Awards for the first time.
The Oscars will never be complete without the much anticipated funny moments. Below are some picks from the net on some of the funniest Oscars moments throughout the years:
Muhammad Ali vs Rocky Balboa (1976)
Sylvester Stallone had barely opened his mouth to present an award when Muhammad Ali snuck up behind him. They got into a mock argument which was followed by a mock fight, winner – Ali!.
Will and Steve (2006)
Will Ferrell and Steve Carell took the stage to present the award for Best Makeup wearing makeup .
Billy Crystal wheeled onto stage as Hannibal (1992)
As Billy later acknowledged, he really wasn’t sure how this little stunt would go.It was on this night that Billy secured himself a spot as one of the top Academy Awards hosts of our time.
A serenade (2007)
Oscar voters aren't very kind to comedians, which was the inspiration behind the song that Jack Black and Will Ferrell hilariously serenaded the audience with in 2007. They have yet to be even nominated.
The streaker (1974)
Robert Opel didn't faze host David Niven when he charged onto the stage sans clothing. In fact, after a brief pause David said, “”The only laugh that man will ever get in his life is by stripping… and showing his shortcomings”. Ouch.
Sacha Baron Cohen vs. Ryan Seacrest (2012)
Despite rumours that Sacha Baron Cohen wasn't invited to the 2012 show, he still managed to make a grand entrance. Cohen stops to talk to the Ryan Seacrest, and manages to upend half an urn of the late dictator Kim Jong-Il's 'ashes' all over Ryan's Sunday best. What's funny isn't so much the act itself, but rather watching Ryan trying to hold back his temper. To his credit, he does manage to chuckle it off, eventually.
The Wizard of Oz Focus Group
cgo by RoninKengo
Christopher Guest and his ensemble of comedy geniuses struck again in what was the smartest and funniest sketch of the show. Guest and crew poke fun at film focus groups, quickly tearing apart all that is sacred in the classic Wizard of Oz.
Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis
When Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis presented the award for Best Original Song, the two took the stage while crashing cymbals in unison, stopping only to bash them together right in Brad Pitt's face.

Retirement should be an easy transition for the Pope. He already wears a robe all day.
You know the economy is bad when even God is laying people off. #pope
